The filler of cable type 1-AYKY is formed by winded strips or unvulcanized rubber
The filler of cable type 1-AYKY is formed by winded strips. For construction of those cable types is used either filler from unvulcanized rubber or filler formed by winded strips. Nevertheless both types of fillers are equal and do not have influence on cable quality or electrical cable parameters. The filler helps to hold the twisted cores. The only difference is, when used unvulcanized rubber, the cable is round. It is possible to use both types for same applications. Regarding electrical parametres and cable testing - requirements are same. Cable is tested by 4kV. Also insulation parameters are equal.Draka Kabely in Europe
